Wilderness Festival has announced an incredible after dark line-up for their infamous venue, The Valley, as part of their Eighth Season. The Valley is now announced in full, and comes in addition to an already huge bill that includes Nile Rodgers & Chic, Jon Hopkins, Kamasi Washington, Baxter Dury, IAMDDB and much, much more.
Set in a hidden natural amphitheatre, under cover of ancient oak trees, The Valley has become the late-night heart of Wilderness Festival, hidden from view until you burst through the trees, tumble down the slope to The Valley floor – a place to lose yourself in music until the small hours.
This year, the Valley will play host to a DJ set from one of the most beloved acts in British dance music – Groove Armada. There’ll be forward-thinking, genre-bending music from George Fitzgerald, riding on the back of critical acclaim from his brand new album. Korean DJ and woman of the moment, Peggy Gou will not disappoint with her unique mix of kinetic, dark pulsing house and techno. Joining this ultimate party in the forest line-up are seasoned party starters: legend Mike Pickering of Hacienda fame, Waze and Odyssey who curated the infamous top secret Pagoda line-up for a decade. And there’s Horse Meat Disco’s Severino, Dom Chung, Cousn and Hot Blood.
Over the years, The Valley has become many Wilderness-goers dream destination. As Wilderness’ very own perfectly realised outdoor nightclub, it’s an after hours magnet for the discerning crowds (party people) who want to lose themselves in music, bathed in lasers and sound-tracked by an expertly curated line up of the very best record selectors around.
