HOUSE OF VANS
WHATS ON NOVEMBER
This November, House of Vans brings a jam-packed calendar of activities: On Saturday 11th, our Vans Asia Family will be making their way to London for The Takeover - a one-day takeover bringing to House of Vans a co-curated music night with Asian and UK bands taking our main stage in celebration of cross-cultural creative expression.
We’ll keep our mini stage busy with more up & coming bands from the UK taking over our Tunnel 2 for the last three instalments of House of Vans’ Sessions. November’s bill will feature Alt-rock super band Gold Keys.
Open until November 12th, don’t miss The Shrineing, an eccentric, collaborative exhibition curated by visual artists Billy & Mernywernz and inspired by public shrines found in Japan, Mexico and many more, inviting several street artists to come together to create their own interpretation of a shrine, in celebration of the good things in life.
On November 16th, we’ll be transforming our gallery space into a massive, site-responsive art piece for our exciting EOY artshow, Studio PSK’s ‘RGB’. Powered by the creative minds behind Polyphonic Playground, this large scale, interactive installation explores the relationships between light and colours by means of RGB colours and will feature a 20sqm ball pit to engage visitors in a truly interactive way.
Cinema & Skate/BMX:
We continue our mission to make House Of Vans cinema big in 2017, hosting a calendar of underground, art house screenings (Dogwoof & Commune Cinema) alongside our weekly schedule of films. Regular activities: Skate Fry Days, Girls Skate Night & Bikes & Burgers have cemented their place in the Capital's core skate calendar with Skate School sessions at weekends proving more popular than ever.
