Unconscious Archives begins its first full outing this week, a brand new festival concept spanning four unique events between 20th - 30th September 2017. Taking over some of London’s most loved spaces across the ten days, Unconscious Archives will explore the relationship between sound, art and performance uniting intriguing, groundbreaking musicians, artists and creatives from the global noise circuit and beyond. UA17 starts this Wednesday 20th with a private view of the ‘Emotion and the Tech(No)Body,’ an exhibition featuring work by international artists across sound art, film, software programming, laboratory culture, sculpture and instrument building. The exhibition provides the glue for the three further events that venture between experimental live film and digital performance event at Shoreditch’s intimate 40 cap Close-Up Film Centre, to club focussed sound explorations at the beloved South London club Corsica Studios with Ziúr, Yaxu, Spatial, Ewa Justka and more, there’s much to explore across the UA17 programme.
